| So happy without head/neck collars! |
Digz' behavioural reconditioning & training was a long process. We sadly realised evidence of check chain abuse which made his neck area extremely sensitive, which subsequently left his muzzle overly sensitive to headcollar use, so we tried him with an 'anti-pull' harness...

| Relaxed & enjoying the Kent countryside... |

... This relieved any pressure from his neck and his mouth, but still meant his handler retained control of him! The results were amazing - not only did the harness give him a whole new sensation of body & movement awareness, but the release of his muzzle and neck produced a profound calming effect on him.

A pic of Digz on his 4th Birthday.

| It wasn't Me in the bin... Honest! |
Digz would do ANYTHING for a piece of bread... The slightest whiff of a breadcrumb would make him dive as quietly as he could down the bin... This time though, he ended up wearing the evidence... BUSTED!!! In this type of situation, punishing the dog for this behaviour is futile and quite cruel - dogs do not know the difference between dog food and rubbish! If you have a problem with a thieving dog and feel you must punish this behaviour - do the kind thing and simply don't leave temptation in his way.
